Spring is here and summer is around the corner! It’s the perfect time to brighten up your space. Aside from spring cleaning there are some really affordable ways to give your home some life.
1. Swap Out Your Candles and Air Fresheners
Spring and summer refreshes are not just about what you can see, but also what you can smell. Flowers, rain, and ocean breezes are some of the scents the best represent the season and changing up the scents in your home will help you celebrate the season on a budget.

2. Change Your Throw Pillows and Throw Blankets
Changing your throw pillows and blankets are excellent ways to incorporate color and texture into a room. You can find these items for as low as $5 in the grocery stores that you frequent making them an affordable way to update your home.
3. Bring in Some Living Plants to Your Space
Gardening season is well underway and it’s a great time to bring literal life into your home. Of course, indoor gardening has been in an up tick since the pandemic so if you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon spring and summer is a really good time to bring plants in to your indoor and outdoor space. Starting your plants from seed will give you the best bang for your buck.
4. Update Your Curtains
Looking for a bigger impact? Swapping out your curtains is another affordable way to bring color, patterns, and light into your home. Try taking accent color in your home and making a more prominent using your window treatments. Alternatively, if you want a brighter and cleaner look white curtains are classic and often easy to incorporate into most spaces. When on a budget don't forget to check thrift stores or even second hand stores for preloved items.
